Many of you prayed for us so that I could get my passport back from immigration. The reason it was stuck in immigration is a long and much too long to put in this blog. But yours and our prayers were answered yesterday when a local Ghanaian friend delivered them. Onto Senegal, folks.
Senegal is a country about 4 hours by airplane west of Ghana. I will be there facilitating a workshop for missionaries on interpersonal skills, which they rate was the number one reason missionaries leave the mission field. I am leaving tonight about midnight Ghana time (about 8pm EST). This will be the first of many trips for me with my new colleagues at Mobile Member Care Team while we are in Ghana. I am scheduled to arrive back in Ghana on the 21st.
Pray for Tywonn who won’t be traveling with me. This will be the first time that she’ll be alone when we’ve been outside the U.S.
Continue to check the blog for more pics and more stories, but this time with a Senegalize flavor.
