Bon Voyage

Today we begin the journey that God put in my heart 11 years ago and Tywonn ten years ago.  The culmination of this event leaves us feeling excited and nervous all wrapped into one big twinkie.  We have plenty of errands to run this morning before we board the plane in Tampa, which leads us to Detroit, Amsterdam (that’s in the Netherlands for all you geographically challenged like Tywonn who thought it was in Germany), and finally landing in Ghana tomorrow about 6:30p Ghanian time.  For many God has asked you to financially partner with us: THANK YOU!  For many God has put it in your heart to be an advocate for us: THANK YOU.  For those of you who have been led to pray with us here are thoughts to be praying about and for as we depart:

  • Safe travel
  • Safe travel and arrival of all our luggage
  • Courage and peace and for the rough times
  • A heart of gratitude for joyous times.

I guess that’s it for now.  Next time we’ll be writing we’ll be in Accra, Ghana.

Alan
